The end is in sight!

One month from today I'll be a Master Educator!  The last year and a half I've been juggling working full time and trying to get my master's degree.  Adam has been doing the same.  We both wont quite know what to do with ourselves when we actually have down time.  Hopefully Adam will finish his master's the end of July.  The end is in sight!  Hooray!

Spring Break

If I don't blog now it's never going to happen.  I'm going back to work tomorrow after a wonderful week long spring break.  Adam finished his student teaching a month ago and started a part time job at 1-800-contacts.  He's been busy training.  Because he's working, and doing school work still, I stayed home this spring break, and did what everyone dreams of doing during Spring Break.  HOMEWORK!!!  Yes, this week, I stayed home, cleaned, wrote a research project, made a powerpoint, and created a final project.  It wasn't the most exciting, but I did catch up on many things hanging over my head.

I wanted to wash all things that never get cleaned with my free time.  Adam wouldn't get out of bed so I attempted to wrap him in the sheets and push him off the bed.  Oh Adam.  Always trying to "make it fun."
Adam and I did make time to go to the gym!  We're training for the Wasatch Back in June with the Attridge family.  We've been run, run, running!  Here we are excited for our morning run.
Here are a few of the things we did when we weren't studying.
Adam had a test at work where he had to memorize all these facts about contacts.  Being the supportive wife I am (trying to avoid my homework) I made him flashcards and quizzed him.  He even studied at the gym!  Here he is with his study materials!  It paid off.  He passed with 95%!
We did go on a "date".  It was my turn to plan.  Here we are on our way out the door!

Here Adam is trying on hats while I look at belts.  (He entertains himself easily.)  I got a steal of a deal.  I saved $20 on a belt!  It only cost me $4.40!
Next on our date we went to . . .
CABELA'S!!!!  A free date with plenty of entertainment!

Don't ask.

The bears give great head massages.  They're free!

The date then ended with dinner at home and Oreo truffles.
Happy Spring Break!

Hello friends!  Life has been BUSY BUSY BUSY.  Adam started his student teaching in January and is experiencing the stress of learning new material while trying to manage 40 students.  It's been a good learning opportunity for the both of us!  I'm just treading water with my own master's degree and fifth grade class.  Thank goodness for weekends!

Here are a few pictures from the last few months.  This is Jocelyn, our niece.  Adam and I babysat over Christmas break.  We made sure she was bundled up!
Adam and I made our 2011 goals.  One of Adam's goals is to not spend any money on haircuts this year.   Because of that, I've made it a goal to become a hair dresser!  Here is our first experience!  Not so bad if I say so myself.

We also said goodbye to our table.  I say our table, but really we were borrowing it from Kara and Peter.  They got a place of their own so we returned it.  Mom and Dad Attridge are going to give us Grandpa's old table.  Until then we sporting an old card table and folding chairs.  It's made dinner entertaining!  A few weeks ago at dinner I knocked the leg and dinner ended up all over the place!  Here is Adam saying goodbye to the table.
